Seoul Sister in Space: First Korean Woman in Space


I am late on this post, but on April 8, 2008 Yi So-yeon the 49th woman: second Asian woman: 1st Korean Woman went to space. South Korea was very proud and had celebrations around Korea. I stumbled across this space simulation set up for children, so they could see what it would be like to be in space!






You could even get your picture taken with her. Picture your face in the middle!

That looks pretty fun. I really wanted to go to space camp when I was a kid just so I could float in zero gravity.

I wonder if I'm too old now...
