It's Friday!

There is not a lot going on over here in South Korea. After while it gets repetitive. Wake up, Go to work, Come home and do it all over again just like being back home in the States. I don't get as much time as I did to go out and sight see as I did when I got here. Teaching is draining and because I work 6 days a week any free moment you get you just want to rest. Well, today it finally stopped raining and I went outside to go get breakfast next door and spend some time with the Lord and read my devotionals.

Rotiboy Bun and my devotionals

I am soo proud of you. I feel like your big sister. Wow the older you get, you start to notice a whole lot of people younger than you. lol..Are you 26? I am very impressed with your accomplishment, drive and devotion to Christ. It must be hard to be away from your friends and family. Do you come home to visit or are you there for 6months

Ah, thanks! I have always wanted a big sister :) Yep, I am 26. I am contracted to be here for 1 year. I have been here since the day after Christmas and I will be home in 2009. It has been difficult being away from friends and family, but I have learned alot about myself and I have grown and become a better person. I am loving the experience.

I know I'm old when I can be a big sister to a 26yr old..oh lawwd. I actually forget how old I am sometimes. I have to think of my cousin's age just to be sure. I can't believe I just revealed that to all the readers to see..oh well..lol. Where are you from? And feel free to correct any puncuation or grammer errors I might make..my friend is a English teacher, 12grade but she has been correcting folks all her life!!

lol...You are not that much older than I am, are you? You don't look old..lol I too am a English teacher. That is why I came here to teach English and get the chance to live in another country. Wasn't nothing going on back home, so I said, why not?

I am from Washington, DC? Where are you from?

I will be 29 in July!!!!! Well I'm from Chicago..but I am now living in Ga. You are teaching English as a second language right?

Happy Birthday in case I forgot in July to tell you..lol Yep, ESL. How do you like living in ATL? One of my friends from DC moved down there last year. She says she loves it, but it is not a good place for singles. She was like the female to male ratio sucks...LOL

Thanks girly!! I like it hear in regards to raising a family. And you get more for your money here. Like hubby and I were getting a brand new home built from the ground 5bedrooms 4baths for only 161k!! So economically its better...you cant get that in chi for that price. The ratio is bad but I honestly feel there is nothing family oriented here. You can always find a club, bar, strip club or party but there is no where to take the kids other than the zoo and aquarium. Chicago has a lot of outside scenery. Fountains out door concerts. nothing like that here. No one even goes downtown here. So tell your friend it gets worse when you get married with a kid.
